An introduction to TigerGraph's fully-managed Graph Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).
TigerGraph Cloud Overview
TigerGraph Cloud is a fully-managed platform that handles the complexity of deploying, scaling, and managing TigerGraph instances. It is built on the same Enterprise engine as the on-premises server but is optimized for cloud infrastructure.
1. Supported Providers
You can deploy TigerGraph Cloud solutions across the three major cloud providers:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
2. Solution Tiers
TigerGraph Cloud offers several tiers to match different stages of development:
| Tier | Ideal For | Features |
|---|---|---|
| Free Tier | Training & Learning | One free instance per org, limited disk, no backups. |
| Professional | Production & Testing | Customizable instances, disk scaling, and full backups. |
| Enterprise | Large Scale Production | High availability (HA), custom support, and dedicated VPCs. |
3. The TigerGraph Suite
Every cloud solution comes pre-integrated with the full suite of TigerGraph tools:
- GraphStudio: Visual design and exploration.
- Admin Portal: Monitoring and user management.
- GSQL Web Shell: Terminal access to the GSQL engine.
- TigerGraph Insights: Low-code visual dashboarding.
[!NOTE] Cloud Classic vs. Savanna: TigerGraph has recently introduced "Savanna" as the next generation of its cloud platform. This section focuses on "Cloud Classic" features.
